The Sabi Company is proud to present Down and Dangerous – a film by Sabi playing at The Hollywood Theater on 2/22 at 4:30pm. You can buy tickets by clicking here. The star John T. Down and Dangerous and The Hollywood Theater in Portland, Oregon have something in common. Both employed the use of crowdfunding campaigns with Kickstarter to raise funds from generous and supportive backers to see a vision to fruition. In the case of Down and Dangerous, the funds went toward the production of the film. In the case of Hollywood Theater, the funds went toward a restoration of the marquee back to it’s 1926 look and condition. Thanks to The Hollywood Theater’s cooperation, this marquee will soon read Down and Dangerous!
Also The Sabi Company wishes to thank to a generous donor and longtime supporter of Sabi (who wishes to remain anonymous) who enabled us to secure the 384 main theater (which was the former orchestra area of the original 1,500 seat theater). We are grateful to our generous donor and Kickstarter backers and the cast & crew that made this possible.
